Deanna wrote it to help women who are in abuse, or coming out of it, find healing — and to lift up God for everything He brought her through. She shares how a publisher she met at a women's conference encouraged her to finally tell her story, and how the compassion in her heart for women became a book.

And there's a love story 42 years in the making: Deanna and Brian knew each other at 14, life and distance separated their families — and they found each other again more than four decades later. They've now been married almost eight years.
